  Prayer Requests

1.  Our prayers continue for Dalene and those working and teaching and laboring with her for:

a. The Holy Spirits presence will be acknowledged, accepted and His leading obeyed.

b. For physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health of Dalene during these busy days and weeks.

c. For the many conferences and teachings where the truth of Christ was shared—that it will be accepted and continue to change people’s lives.

c. Safety in travels while in Uganda and for her return travels back to USA January 26th.

2.  Omwabini Impact Site/Orphan School asks for prayers for:

a. Our dream has been to start our own primary and secondary school.  Pray that God will provide teacher's salaries, care takers allowances and give our children good health.

b. Our major challenge has been typhoid and malaria infections. We pray that God will avail funds for children's typhoid vaccines.

c. Pray that God will avail funds towards completion of the primary school.

d. Pray that because of the economic situation there has been a reduction of resources that we will be wise in the resources we have and the Lord will provide more.

3.  Justin and Gary as they begin their travels and ministry schedule.

4.  For exposure and justice to be brought to those involved with human trafficking in Uganda.

5.  Set Free Ministries East Africa sends these requests:

a. The schools in Uganda are starting the first term on 30th January and the partners are apprehensive on how they will start. Pray for the partners to always look to God not people. Psalm 121: 1-2.

b. I have encountered so many suffering children in all the areas I visited but in Soroti the situation was alarming.  Pray for these adults and children who were affected by the Kony war.  Much physical, mental and spiritual damage has taken place.  In addition there is much poverty and we pray for someone to come to their assistance.

c. SFM-EA is making very crucial and strategic plans to ensure children are reached in the most effective and efficient manner despite the reduction in resources.  Pray for our confidence and God's guidance and wisdom as we make these decisions.

  Praise Reports

1. Dalene DeGraaf: Volunteer Missionary sends back this tremendous praise report:

a. “I have returned from four days in Tata which is a remote village SFM school in Uganda. In all the trainings I have completed, Tata is the most expressive of worship with drumming, dancing, singing, and praising the Lord with all of their heart, mind, soul, and strength before, during and after sections of training as their spontaneous expression of praise after forgiving people in their lives.  It was humbling to see how the Lord used the Steps to Freedom in Christ to heal lives.”

b. Several days were spent in Masaka teaching.  Dalene preached at two different churches, Glory of Christ, and Full Gospel on the summary of the epistles and how we are becoming more and more like Christ using Paul's metaphor of running the race.

2. Omwabini Impact Site/Orphan School sends this praise:

“Some of the children about 6 whom we admitted into the orphanage were possessed with very violent demons. They always became violent whenever we assembled for prayer or worship to our Heavenly Father. The Lord has delivered them all and now they are prayer warriors. They can now worship the Lord in truth and in Spirit. To God Be All the Glory!”

3. Justin Haan and Gary Miedema have arrived safely in Uganda.
